火山噴發新島 與日西之島接合

（中央社東京26日綜合外電報導）日本海岸防衛隊今天表示，日本太平洋海岸外海海底火山噴發形成的小島，和鄰近的西之島（Nishino-shima）接合。

法新社報導，飛越這個新冒出小島的海防隊人員說，這個小島和小笠原群島中不適人居的火山島西之島已在兩個點接合在一塊。小笠原群島位於東京以南約1000公里處。

海岸防衛隊在聲明中指出，小島上的2個火山口「每隔30秒至1分鐘」就不斷噴發，褐色煙霧竄升約100公尺高。

淡色火山氣體及灰色煙霧也不斷噴出。

這座小島11月20日首次被發現時，距西之島約200公尺。西之島預估有1000萬年的歷史。

聲明指出，小島目前東到西距離約450公尺，南北距離500公尺，面積約0.15平方公里。（譯者：中央社蔡佳伶）1021226
