英55年首見通膨轉負 財相急喊話消毒

（中央社倫敦2015年5月19日綜合外電報導）英國官方今天出爐的數據顯示，4月年通貨膨脹率自3月的0%降至負0.1%，自1960年來首次轉為負值。財政大臣歐斯本迅即澄清，這不是破壞性通貨緊縮。

法新社報導，英國國家統計局聲明表示：「這是自1996年開始有官方紀錄以來，消費者物價指數（CPI）首次較上年同期下滑，而根據可供比較的歷史估計數據，也是自1960年來第一次負成長。」

路透社報導，財政大臣歐斯本（ George Osborne）表示，英國並未面臨「破壞性通貨緊縮」，並且有能力避免這種風險發生。

歐斯本表示：「我們不應該將這錯認為破壞性通縮」。他說，英國應該樂見去年以來下滑的油價，帶動生活成本降低。

歐斯本說：「當然，我們必須警戒通縮風險，一旦風險攀升，我們的經濟有能力因應。」
