Strong inductor demand to boost Chilisin 2015 sales, says report

Strong inductor demand for smartphones will continue to buoy sales at Chilisin Electronics in 2015, according to a recent Chinese-language Commercial Times report.

Consolidated revenues at Chilisin are forecast to register 10-15% growth in 2015, buoyed by an increase in orders for 0201 thin-film multilayer inductors and molding chokes coming from the smartphone market, the report quoted market watchers as saying. The company's EPS for the year are also expected to rise above NT$3 (US$0.10) from the NT$2.65 estimated for 2014, the report indicated.

In response, Chilisin said that the company has not provided its financial guidance for 2015.

Chilisin has announced record consolidated revenues of NT$3.94 billion (US$125 million) for 2014. Profits for the year have not been disclosed. Chilisin posted a net EPS of NT$1.83 in the first three quarters of 2014.
