石定捐款助推廣民主選舉

本報訊

駐韓國台北代表部新任代表石定，今天在仁川松島代表中華民國政府捐款10萬美元，協助「世界選舉機關協會」（A-WEB）的能力建構訓練計畫。

駐韓代表部發言人、新聞組長江嘉祥向中央社記者表示，10萬美元由石定捐贈A-WEB秘書長金容熙（KimYong-Hi）。

石定代表中華民國政府捐贈10萬美元除肯定A-WEB，同時展現中華民國推動民主及健全選務體系的決心，並期盼更多會員共襄盛舉。

A-WEB於2013年10月14日正式成立，中華民國中央選舉委員會成為創始會員，A-WEB目前正式會員包括94國與97個選舉機構。(中央社)
