Taiwan MOEA approves new investments at Kaohsiung Software Park

The Export Processing Zone Administration (EPZA) of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) has has approved applications from Hoya Marketing, Madhatter Technology, and Edispay Solutions, to invest and station at the Kaohsiung Software Park (KSP). The total investment amounts to around NT$25.6 million (US$819,761).

Three new investments consist of different industries including businesses operating marketing platforms, providing marketing services, operating e-commerce and mobile commerce platforms, constructing mobile network application platforms, business information systems, websites, information communication network applications, planning and developing e-commerce systems, designing naked eye 3D TFT advertising machine systems, and developing modern touch panels.

EPZA also indicated that the total export value of companies in all zones has achieved US$13.54 billion from January-November in 2014, an increase of 17.72% compared with the same period in 2013. The trade surplus amounted to US$3.775 billion. In addition, the current employment rate has reached over 82,000, which is 6,646 more than the same period in 2013.
