特斯拉添機器人 生產電動SUV

（中央社台北2014年7月22日電）彭博報導，美國電動車大廠特斯拉位在加州的組裝廠首度停工，因特斯拉將引進機器人大軍，以加速生產電動車，並準備打造「X型」運動休旅車。

特斯拉（Tesla Motors Inc. US-TSLA）發言人史普羅爾（Simon Sproule）表示，加州佛利蒙特（Fremont）工廠的生產線昨天開始重新配置，兩周內將恢復組裝作業，屆時將提高生產25%。

史普羅爾表示，這次組裝線大舉升級耗資1億美元，將增添25台機器人，並翻修廠房與產線。

史普羅爾昨天接受電訪指出：「這是這座工廠開始運作以來規模最大的投資行動，不但可拉抬產能，還可在同樣的生產線製造S型與X型車。」

執行長馬斯克（Elon Musk）不斷表示，他希望今年能夠向全球客戶出貨至少3.5萬台S型車，較去年激增近56%。特斯拉第2季開始向中國大陸與英國出貨，下半年將對香港、日本與澳洲出貨。馬斯克還身兼太空探索科技公司（Space Exploration Technologies Corp.）執行長。（譯者：中央社趙蔚蘭）
