研究：糖尿病藥與膀胱癌無關

（中央社記者龍珮寧台北2014年8月27日電）一款口服糖尿病藥物遭質疑與膀胱癌有關，美國研究機構完成10年近3萬人追蹤發現，與膀胱癌風險無關。

過去動物實驗發現，口服糖尿病藥物Pioglitazone（愛妥糖，Actos）會增加膀胱癌風險，引起全球關注，因此各國藥物主管相關單位要求加註警語，並要求藥廠進行研究。

糖尿病學會前理事長莊立民表示，賓州大學與北加州凱撒醫療中心(KPNC)研究部長期追蹤2萬7000人10年，研究結果發現曾使用這款口服藥物的第2型糖尿病患，罹患膀胱癌的風險並未增加。

莊立民說，另外，分析使用時間長短、累計劑量等，也沒有發現會增加膀胱癌風險。

莊立民分析逾60萬30歲以上第2型糖尿病患，發現用這款藥可減少17%肝癌發生率，服藥3年以上，並不增加大腸直腸癌、肺癌、膀胱癌風險。過去因擔心膀胱癌停藥者，透過最新研究結果可讓醫師開藥、病人服藥更加安心。
