白宮：歐巴馬與達賴喇嘛將一同參與活動

（中央社華盛頓2015年1月30日綜合外電報導）白宮今天指出，美國總統歐巴馬下週將參與華府一項公開活動，達賴喇嘛也將出席，此舉料將觸怒北京當局。

白宮國家安全會議（National Security Council）發言人米漢（Bernadette Meehan）表示：「總統將在全國祈禱早餐會（National Prayer Breakfast）就堅持宗教自由重要性發表談話。今年，主辦單位也邀請達賴喇嘛尊者（His Holiness the Dalai Lama）參加。」

1位國會助理表示，歐巴馬和達賴喇嘛將參加2月5日在華府舉行的全國祈禱早餐會。

達賴喇嘛已受邀參加這次年度活動，且證實他將會到場。歐巴馬則預定將會參加。

雖然中國大陸警告與這位西藏流亡精神領袖會面將傷害彼此關係，但歐巴馬仍與達賴喇嘛見過3次面，分別是在1年前、2010年和2011年。
