（中央社台北2014年1月20日電）紐約北島今天驚傳慘遭規模6.3強震侵襲，撼動首都威靈頓，也「震落」紐元匯率。

紐西蘭地震監測機構GeoNet在官網上表示，地震發生在當地時間下午3點52分，震央位於城堡角（Castlepoint）北邊10公里處。

紐元匯價聞訊驚跌，一度挫貶0.3%，報82.32美分，寫下1月10日來低點。威靈頓下午4點10分，紐元報82.39美分。（譯者：中央社趙蔚蘭）
