美研究：激勵節電 祭省錢招數沒用

（中央社邁阿密2015年1月12日綜合外電報導）美國研究人員今天表示，相較於告訴人們減少能源使用能省多少錢，告訴人們汙染如何有害孩童健康較能激勵他們省電。

這項發表於美國國家科學院學報（PNAS）的研究，聚焦住在洛杉磯118棟公寓民眾的生活。

約4個月期間，居民每週獲得關於他們能源使用的反饋。

部分居民被告知他們自身和附近更節能居民的電力使用狀況，以及他們若關燈和減少用電能省下多少錢。

另一組也獲得類似反饋，此外，還被告知他們使用的能源多寡如何構成汙染，以及空氣汙染會導致孩童罹患癌症和氣喘等問題。

對照組則未獲得任何反饋。

得到健康相關警告的公寓電力使用較對照組平均減少8%。

這項研究指出，有小孩的居民減少用電達19%。

被告知減少能源使用能省錢的公寓，用電習慣則幾乎沒變。
