（中央社倫敦2014年12月1日綜合外電報導）報導指出，法國工程師研發的樹型風力發電機可望明年上市。原型機是在樹葉裡裝上小型葉片，不論風向都能運轉自如，而且優點是完全靜音。

倫敦「每日郵報」（Daily Mail）報導，以密休-拉西維爾（Jerome Michaud-Lariviere）為首的法國工程師團隊以3年時間研發出風力發電人工樹。

報導指出，開發者宣稱這種「風力發電樹」（WindTree）較不惹人嫌，且較風力渦輪發電機更有效率，又擁有完全靜音的優點，將於2015年上市。

一台792.5公分高的原型機現在法國西北部不列塔尼的普勒默爾博杜（Pleumeur-Bodou）村落試用。密休-拉西維爾期望人們最終可在自家、都會中心使用。

風力發電樹售價為2萬3500英鎊（約新台幣114萬元）。
