駐星代表：獅城民眾赴台旅遊夯

（中央社記者黃自強新加坡2014年12月19日專電）中華民國駐新加坡代表謝發達今天說，根據今年1月到11月的觀光人數統計，和去年同期相比，新加坡人民到台灣旅遊人次成長3.6%，這也說明了台灣推動觀光的成果。

知名旅遊網站最新調查顯示，台北是新加坡人首選的跨年目的地。

謝發達指出，新加坡每年都有很多人到台灣旅遊，他們回來之後都對台灣美食、人文及旅遊品質讚不絕口。

他說，雖然今年8月時赴台觀光旅遊人數，和去年同期相比略有下降，但交通部觀光局駐新加坡辦事處隨即提出許多促銷和推廣計畫，介紹台灣各種具有特色的旅遊環境。

謝發達說，透過觀光局等有關單位努力，新加坡人赴台旅遊人潮再度攀升，今年10月成長7.55%、11月成長8.39%，這也證明台灣的好山好水確實是獅城民眾出國旅遊的首選。
