【大紀元2015年02月26日訊】（大紀元記者蔡宜霖綜合報導）李維拉在2013年球季退休後，洋基隊新終結者羅伯森（David Robertson）表現出色，上季拿下39次救援成功。可惜羅伯森今年加盟白襪，導致洋基投手戰力失衡。李維拉聽到後，昨（26）日笑稱要復出。

羅伯森離隊後洋基將由貝坦西斯（Dellin Betances）和米勒（Andrew Miller）共同扛下守護神一職，採取雙救援的方式。擔任投手客座教練的李維拉開玩笑說：「我決定要復出！」總教練喬拉第（Joe Girardi）也笑稱過去確實有客座教練決定復出的案例。**
