WHO：伊波拉病毒已致5420死

（法新社日內瓦20日電） 聯合國世界衛生組織（WHO）昨天說，2013年12月底到現在，8個國家共有1萬5145人感染伊波拉病毒，其中5420人病故。

世衛組織14日曾報告有1萬4413人感染伊波拉，5177人死亡。

有鑒於這波伊波拉疫情死亡率約為70%，世衛組織認為死亡數字應該高出更多，。

史上最致命的1次伊波拉疫情持續肆虐，幾內亞、賴比瑞亞和獅子山受創最重。

但新的死亡數字出爐同時，病毒在賴比瑞亞首都蒙羅維亞（Monrovia）的散布速度有減緩趨勢，讓受創最嚴重的賴比瑞亞解除緊急狀態。

世衛組織最新的統計數字指出，截至11月16日，賴比瑞亞有7069人感染伊波拉，其中2964人死亡。

世衛組織說，獅子山截至11月16日，有6073人感染，其中1250人死亡。

這波疫情的起始地幾內亞有1971人感染，1192人死亡。

世衛組織昨天說，已知共有584名醫護人員感染伊波拉，其中329人死亡。（譯者：中央社李佩珊）
