Xiaomi unveils flagship model for 2015, Xiaomi Note

China-based smartphone vendor Xiaomi Technology has unveiled a 5.7-inch flagship model, Xiaomi Note, for initial launch in the China market at the end of January.
The flagship model comes barely two weeks after the vendor unveiled its new entry-level model, Hongmi (Redmi) 2, earlier in the month, priced at CNTY699 (US$113).
There will be two versions of Xiaomi Note: A cheaper one is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 CPU with 3GB RAM, priced at CNY2,299. Another is powered by a Qualcomm 810 CPU with 4GB RAM, priced at CNY3,299.
Xiao aims to ship 100 million smartphones in 2015, increasing over 60% from a year earlier, according to the company.
Xiaomi's production partners, FIH Mobile and Inventec, reportedly are expanding their production capacity in China in order to cope with increasing orders from Xiaomi, the sources revealed.
