林美秀自誇手藝好　沒人捧場！

林美秀日前為八大《故鄉好滋味》到台南尋找古早味小吃，看到冰糖鴨舌、鴨掌等，老闆娘們還沒醃漬就急著想吃，她邊吃邊主持，她說拍攝電影《總鋪師》時曾到台南取景，重返台南她直說熟悉，「之前來拍電影，對這些地方都還有印象」。她在電影中炒菜一流，不過她為節目再拿鍋鏟炒鱔魚，她雖自信表示在電影中做過類似料理：「這我知道要怎麼炒比較好吃！」但問起現場客人意願，竟沒人舉手想吃她炒的鱔魚，讓她十分漏氣，她無奈表示：「沒人想吃我炒的啦！」（顏馨宜／台北報導）
