台美衛生官員 世衛大會雙邊會談

（中央社記者江今葉日內瓦2015年5月18日專電）台灣參加世界衛生大會（WHA）代表團今天下午與美國代表團舉行雙邊會談，雙方就伊波拉病毒防疫合作、減重等議題交換意見。

台灣代表團官員表示，台美雙方在伊波拉病毒疫情防治合作密切，台灣並在台南成立伊波拉防治中心，未來也將邀請美方共同參與訓練，增強合作。

由於美國總統歐巴馬十分關心減重議題、流感病毒株合作等議題，台、美代表團也針對這些領域全面廣泛交換意見。

中華民國衛生福利部部長蔣丙煌在會談中，也與美國衛生部長波維爾（Sylvia Mathews Burwell）握手致意，親切交談。
